Holy Moses on a motorbike, Batman! Does anyone still read this?!

Well, alright, that's a silly question. I know there are several of you who still check here every now and then! ;)

Man, what to say...?

I will keep it short.

2008 is going to be a big year! I am currently in the process of beginning the move to Downtown Sacramento sans roommate, into a charming little apartment with hardwood floors!

Annnd... By apartment, I mean a charming unit in an Art Deco Vision of the Future Circa the 1950s Dentist Office Building. It is ridiculously awesome, and I submitted my rental application this past Saturday. Cross your fingers for me and hope they hand it over! ;)

Being a cautious optimist here and assuming they give me the place, I have absurdly amazing plans to paint the different rooms shades of lovely light blue, subtle yellow, and either a sage green or neutral beige. Additionally, I intend do gussy the joint up with fun items from IKEA - a place I've always wanted to utilize, but have never had the opportunity to up until this point. :)

Painting the place several different colors and buying furniture from IKEA seems like a really flimsy plan, I know, but I am thinking of fleshing it all in as I go along. I've been visiting Apartment Therapy lately for inspiration, specifically, these links:

There are some pretty amazing spacings in those lists of links, though I tend to focus on the ones that look more cozy and lived in, as opposed to chic and cold. :)

On a totally different note, I am thinking it would be fun to start posting random iPhone photos I take here. For whatever reason, the pictures my friends and I take with my iPhone always turn out much more candid or fun than the ones taken with an ordinary digital camera. I am going to soon post the Pimp Cup pictures of my co-workers, but for now, here is a test shot of me hard at work... ;)
