Remember that apartment I mentioned in my last entry?

I officially signed my rental papers for the apartment back in early March, and I have spent the last month or so disinfecting, cleaning, sorting, organizing, making small repairs and painting my new place. :)

Currently, it is ALMOST ready for me to live in and cause undue mischief, much to the dismay of my future downstairs neighbor, I am sure.

I am totally excited!

I don't plan on posting a full home tour until it is completely furnished, but let it suffice to say I have been utilizing Apartment Therapy and IKEA as resources for room planning. :) Hopefully the style I've chosen to go along with will portray the modern/cozy look I want to go for, but only time will tell!

I am mainly worried about planning out my living room, since I have my other rooms nailed down, but at least I made SOME progress. :) I purchased this nifty dining table set today, and I can't wait to put it together this weekend! Whoot!

On a final note, here is a small preview of my new place so far, with a new coat of beige paint in the bedroom, yellow in the kitchen, and sky blue in the living room. :)
