Japan: Part I
I realize that posting a diatribe going on about how people need to listen better is no way to make a LiveJournal comeback. Ergo, I believe it's high-time for a picture post, which has been a long time coming.

The brunette doofus is myself, and the Mysterious Blonde is my friend [info]clever_r. :)

In other news, the times they are a changin' in the life of Kelly. I'll write up a post with some real meat in it eventually, and of course, post my second set of photos from Japan. :)

Is that a bag with a SEATBELT strap!? Sweet. And it's an old-timey seatbelt buckle, too. Rad, man. Rad.

Excited for next set of photos. =D Was it a culture shock at all? I've never been anywhere so it would be for me.

It sure is a seatbelt strap! It's a Chrome bicycle messenger bag.

You can check them out here. I have the smallest one in sage green with a black stripe. It's awesome, and worth the dough if you're ever looking for a slick bag that's not a purse. ;)

Annnd, the culture shock wasn't too bad, but after several days I was definitely tired of all the madness and chaos that comes with a society that always has somewhere to be and has never heard of personal space. I'll definitely have to get my thoughts about the trip down on (proverbial) paper here someday.

My favorite part, hm? Definitely the temple hidden in the woods we visited later in the week. I'll post pics of that eventually. :)
